Who we are
California Mortgage Solutions Inc. is an independent mortgage broker based in San Luis Obispo, California, NMLS company number 325189. This policy covers this website. Once you go on to apply for a loan, the disclosures you receive with your application describe how your file is handled from there.
What we collect
On this site, nothing you type. The site has no form: it asks for no name, no email address, no phone number and no answers about a loan. Reaching us is a phone call, or an email you send yourself.
The application itself is collected by Unified Loan System, on its own site, under its own policy, which the application link opens. You create an account there, and the application asks for what a lender needs, including the documents. This site does not receive what you enter there; the link hands you over and nothing passes through us.
What we do not collect. The site asks for no Social Security number, no date of birth, no account numbers and no documents. Those belong to the application, which runs in that separate system with its own disclosures.
Analytics
The production site uses Google Analytics to count pages viewed and a handful of events: a tap on a phone number, and a click through to the application system, with the kind of loan you picked on the home page if you picked one. The events carry only which button and which kind of loan, never a name, an email, a phone number, a dollar figure or anything you typed. Google receives that data; Google Signals and ad personalization are switched off in the site's analytics settings.

Cookies. Google Analytics sets cookies on the production site, when analytics is on, to tell one visit from another. We set no cookies of our own.
How we use it
- To take your application. The application link opens your own account in Unified Loan System; what you enter there is handled under that system's policy and the disclosures you receive with your application.
- To answer you. If you call or email us, what you tell us is used to answer you and, if you go on, to work on your loan.
- To understand the site. The analytics tell us which pages are read and where people stop, in aggregate.
We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it for cross-context behavioral advertising.
Who receives it
Outside the brokerage, what this site handles goes to the companies that do a job for us:
- Unified Loan System, which takes your application on its own site once you follow the application link. What you enter there goes to it directly, not through us.
- The hosting provider that runs the site.
When you apply, your file goes to the lenders we submit it to and to the parties needed to close a loan, such as an appraiser, a title company and an escrow company. We also disclose information when the law requires it, for example to a regulator or in response to a subpoena.
Reviews of the brokerage are written on its Google profile, under Google's own terms and privacy policy, and this site links there. Where this site quotes a review, it shows the reviewer's words and the name they approved, with their written permission. We collect nothing from you to show a review.
Calls and texts
This site asks for no consent to be contacted, because it asks for nothing. If you agree to be contacted by phone, text message or email, you give that consent in Unified Loan System, in the words it shows you, and it is kept there. Tell us by any means that you want the calls or the texts to stop, and we will stop.
How long we keep it
This site keeps nothing about an application: it holds no form, and the application link hands you to Unified Loan System without passing anything through us. How long that system keeps your application is in its own policy, and how long we keep a loan file is set by the records a mortgage business is required to keep. Google deletes event-level analytics data after the retention period set on our account; aggregate reports are not affected by that setting.
Your choices
You can ask what we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it, and you can withdraw the consent to be contacted at any time. Write to vic@camortgagesolutions.com or call (805) 704-9093. We will confirm who you are before acting on a request about your information, and we will not treat you differently for making one. Some records a mortgage business is required to keep cannot be deleted on request, and we will tell you if that applies.
California residents have rights under California privacy law in addition to the above, and we honor requests made under it. The site does not change what it collects when a browser sends a Do Not Track or Global Privacy Control signal.
Security
The site is served over HTTPS only, and the production site tells browsers to use nothing else. No method of sending or storing information is perfectly secure, and we do not claim otherwise.
Children, and other sites
This site is for adults looking for a home loan. It is not directed at anyone under eighteen, and we do not knowingly collect information from a child. If you believe a child has sent us something, write to vic@camortgagesolutions.com and we will remove it.

Changes to this policy
When the site changes in a way that changes what it collects, this page changes with it and the date at the top moves. The current version is always the one at this address.
